Lawrence’s approach begins with a recognizable condition, examines the relationships beneath it, and develops distinctions the audience can apply to its own questions.
Formats to discuss
- A focused lecture followed by audience questions.
- A moderated conversation or interview.
- A virtual session for a distributed audience.
Introductory engagements
Selected introductory engagements may be offered with the speaking fee waived. Availability, preparation, and scope are agreed individually. A fee waiver does not include travel expenses.
Travel and accommodations
For engagements requiring travel, the host and Lawrence agree transportation, a private hotel room when needed, meals, and local transfers before booking. Host-booked travel or an agreed advance can avoid reimbursement delays. Additional nights and production support are included only by agreement.
Recording and photography
Recording is discussed in advance. Agree who will capture and deliver the files, how they may be used, and who coordinates audience notices and permissions. The right to promote an event is separate from the right to publish or sell a full lecture recording.
Room and technical needs
A clear speaking area, suitable sound reinforcement, and a display where the session uses visuals. Confirm access, accessibility arrangements, sound check, and a host contact before the event.
Publications at the event
Back Pocket editions are in preparation. Once editions are available, host purchases or an on-site publication table may be arranged separately.
Fees, changes and cancellations
The written booking confirmation establishes the fee, approved expenses, payment schedule, recording terms, and cancellation or rescheduling arrangement. An inquiry does not reserve a date or create a payment obligation.
